The Second Annual Fido & Whiskers' Big Day Out is an exciting free event for families and their pets on Sunday, September 28th from 1-4 on Hubbard Green in Glastonbury. The day will include a Blessing of the Animals by Glastonbury pastor Eric Stillman, an agility course demonstrations by Central K-9 along with opportunities for local pets to try out the course; photos of pets with their owners by Sarah McCoy Photography; competitions sponsored by Animal Bath & Burrow with celebrity judges Rachel Lutzker of Fox 61 and The River 105.9 and Joe Furey of Fox 61, Police K-9 demonstrations, a Draw Your Pet contest sponsored by Melzen Farm Supply, a raffle sponsored by Free Range Doggy Daycare and Hidden Fencing to benefit our local Protectors of Animals, face painting by Teach Art 2 Me, pony rides by DreamPonies, prizes, and much more! In addition, the first 300 visitors will receive a "doggie bag" with vendor and sponsor coupons, fliers, and giveaways. This event is being organized by NewLife Christian Fellowship of Glastonbury.  Bring the whole family out, including Fido & Whiskers, for a great time!
